Conservative talk on the defense??
Wait a minute, what am I saying?? Hehehe, I almost lost it, ...I almost said that the inception of the Al Gore liberal radio network might have sparked this latest verbal assault from the worthy vocal strings or Mr. O'Reilly....of course only to make his point but to maintain what credibility he has with his listeners...as an ever trusted Independent.
If I were at odds with Mr O'Rielly I could make the claim that he slighted the ultra-conservative talk show hosts just in order to retain a little bit of his independent credibility whilst he slammed the liberal radio network to be....lord knows he has no beef with a publication such as.....the New York Times.
...but of course, I like Mr O'Reilly, why would I ever do a thing like that??
I dislike Bill O'Reilly. I think he is overly fond of himself and the "independent" aura that is so precious to him despite his conservatism.
That said, I think this move may be a positive one. I see this as him aligning himself with McCain. Working together with a few others in the moderate wing of the Republican party, they may just be able to rescue their party from the neo-cons and the religious right, and maybe bring it back to some of the conservative principles it once stood for. That would be a major positive.
Do you want to place odds on a John/John ticket? That is to say, Kerry/McCain?
