
Sounds like he did a good job because, from what I am reading, none of those students will ever own a gun in their lives much less have an accident with one, .....its amazing what can happen when you shoot yourself in front of a room full of children.
All kidding aside, the reason I am posting this is because a new development has occurred in the story which is not getting the same press that the initial shooting has received. It now seems that instead of negligence on the agents part, the gun itself is now being considered as the potential cause of the accident. The DEA is currently in the process of recalling all of these guns that have recently been issued to all of their agents and are now replacing them with the standard issue Colt M1911A1 Pistol.
Just looking at the pistol I could see where a problem could arise...
