Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2
hint To beat the game faster go to the capsule menu. Hold L1 and L2 and enter and exit the shop holding the buttons. Letting go will ruin your data though.
Def Jam Vendetta
hint Beat the game 4 times and you will win all the pics and everything. Note that the difficulty increases greatly though.

This is my 2nd favorite game. You just have to get used to the controls.
Halo:
My 4th option. Halo is an awesome game that you go around shooting aliens and blowing them up with rocket launchers. :) Be looking for Halo 2 in December.
Zelda: Windwaker
All of the Zelda games are my favorite and are all considerablly great but if you happen to like cartoons then this is your game.
Final Fantasy X2
This game is fun but unfortantly I can't play it because my PS2 is old and it needs to get boosted up or I need another one.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Parents, this is game you may want to think twice about letting your kids play. I liked it though. You can shoot and run over people, do missions, pick up hookers then get your money back $) and buy and exchange properties.
