Don't You Just Hate Spam?
Ok, Im Serious. That meat is one thing I hate but trust me, there are many more. The 'spam" STYLE="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: medium solid green;" HREF="http://search.targetwords.com/u.search?x=5977|1||||spam|AA1VDw">spam' I am (ADMIN EDIT) "talking" about is the kind you get in your email. Everybody hates REAL LOOKING POP-UPS dont they? And they know downloading a pop-up blocker is actually a pop-up with spyware" STYLE="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: medium solid green;" HREF="http://messagebroadcaster.net/bannerfarm/link/sw/sw.htm">spyware and spam?
The problem is that they don't. Almost EVERY internate user (AOL Especially) is infected with spyware do to this matter, and the once fun and clean internate is now the dull and dirty alley. Well, on these "ANNOYING" popups and spams that say REMOVE, UNSUBSCRIBE, DELETE, CANCEL, are popups. And by selecting one of those, it gives the sender a signal that that is a valid email addy. And then you got your real looking ads. "Internate Script Error" and such that looks like something is wrong with your computer. Then this one pop-up that won't let you close it without adding spyware to your computer? You may have witnissed it called, what I believe is Maxtheater or something and the best way to close ANY ad/popup is CTRL ALT Delete, select Applications/Tasks and click the program. Select end task, and later a box MAY appear saying this program is not responding, blah blah blah, end task. that is normal so don't worry. And as far as reading spam, DON'T! Delete it, go into Deleted Items Folder and permantly delete it. Once more...
Aww, Come On!
just about everything now you get off anything has backdoor to it. it sucks, i know, even games you BUY will open one when installed. people just can't keep their business to themselves.
Posted by: neodave at July 2, 2004 03:30 AMHi there, the software i got is called Spyware Killer from Cosmi..The cd i bought says to vissit the website www.cosmi.com Myself i have never gone to thier site to check it out..I have heard of Spybot, my brother-in-law has it and he also has the pop up blocker. This other spyware soft ware you speak of..are you saying that you get the soft ware and the only thing it does is open a back door? instead of shutting the door like it is suppose to? ..Things that make you go "hummm". Thanks for the sharing all and al do take care..later

Posted by: neodave at July 1, 2004 02:06 PMHey..If you fry it up real good and add some mayo on the bread spam is not to bad...lol. Thanks on the cool tip though bout the spam pop up things. You can also get software to find spyware on your pc and helps also to prevent the spyware.
